Commentary: Like A Jigsaw Puzzle

What people certainly need to understand is the fact that God’s living word──the Holy Bible──is to be read and studied like putting a jigsaw puzzle together.

In Isaiah 28:9-10, the LORD our God tells us through His faithful servant Isaiah, “’ Whom will he teach knowledge? And whom will he make to understand the message? Those just weaned from milk? Those just drawn from the breasts? 10) For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept, Line upon line, line upon line, Here a little, there a little.’”

Reading and studying in this manner, in combination with prayer will give you the FULL STORY of any topic.

As an example: when studying prophecy, one must go to various passages throughout His living word which refers to the specific prophecy. Putting it together like a jigsaw puzzle.

Also, people must understand that only those who are being called by Father God can rightly understand the depths and the riches of God’s living word – cf. John 6:44.

If a person is ignorant of what they don’t understand, then how do they know that they don’t know!?

And, that’s not to say that they are guiltless.

Breaking the LORD God’s righteous and immutable Law is still breaking the Law. God's word says that people in general “willfully forget” - 2 Peter 3:1-7.

The penalty for breaking the Law remains the same. Death – cf. Revelation 20:15; 21:8.

However, the worst people, are those who have been shown God’s living truth──and yet because this truth infringes on their lustful desires and lifestyle, they REFUSE TO RECEIVE IT AND ACCEPT IT──they will be severely punished! – cf. Matthew 10:15; Luke 10:14.

That is being willingly ignorant.

God’s word says that “it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them.” And the apostle Peter continues and says that many people will ‘return to their own vomit’! – 2 Peter 2:21-22.

And, our Lord Jesus says of those who outright betray Him, “’ It would have been good for that man if he had not been born.’” – Matthew 26:24.

THEREFORE, I say to you with all the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ – “’ The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. REPENT, and believe in [and I add editorially, receive it and accept it] THE GOSPEL.’” Mark 1:15. □
