Earth Ages

It’s been estimated that the Earth is approximately 4.54 ± 0.05 billion years old.

The Earth has been through many “Earth ages” or “periods” of earthly events.

There have been estimated approximately six or seven “Earth ages.” Such as an ice age. There have been at least five major ice ages in Earth’s history according to geological evidence – the Huronian, Cryogenian, the Andean-Saharan, the late Paleozoic, and the latest Quaternary Ice Age. Then there was also the Mesozoic Era (known as the age of the Dinosaurs). The prehistoric age – some estimates record it as having occurred from 2.5 million years ago to 1,200 B.C. Along with the Stone Age, the Bronze Age, the Iron Age, and so forth.

Within those “Earth ages,” there have been many forms of creatures. Such as the giant lizards – the Dinosaurs. Then there were also Neanderthals – which appeared closely related to human beings (Homo sapiens) but were not. What many call cavemen.

Throughout all these “Earth ages” there have been catastrophic events that have occurred that abruptly ended those ages. Ending the life of those inhabitants upon the Earth at those times.

God’s living word in 2 Corinthians 4:4 tells us that Lucifer (now Satan the Adversary) is the god of this present evil age.

Satan the devil brought darkness upon all creation (Genesis 1:2). The Earth became waste and empty, chaotic, and incapable of sustaining human beings.

His perverse madness and disobedience to God Almighty caused all creation to groan and labor with birth pangs together even until now – cf. Romans 8:22.

But, praise be to the Almighty God, nearly 6,000 years ago, the LORD God (the family of God, which at this time consists of God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ) began to hover Their Spirit over the face of the waters (Genesis 1:2), recreating the Earth! (Genesis 1:31; 2:1; Psalm 104:30) A new “Earth age.” This is the age that the LORD God created Adam and Eve – the first two true Homo sapiens – in Their own image and likeness – Genesis 1:26.

Satan the devil, in his jealousy and madness, surely wanted utter darkness upon the Earth to prevail – but the LORD God caused “light to come unto the world” (Genesis 1:3-4; John 3:19; 12:46). The LORD God’s hand is upon this “Earth age”!

And, the LORD God has called out from each generation of this “Earth age” human representatives of the Creator of all things – cf. Hebrews 1:1-4.

And here we are – winding down to the soon-coming seven-thousand-year Plan! The glorious Millennial Reign of Jesus Christ as King of kings and Lord of Lords! – Revelation 20:1-6. The glorious soon-coming Kingdom of God upon a “new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away.”

An Earth where Satan the Devil and his demons will not have their influence over the new heaven and the new earth for A THOUSAND YEARS! But then, at the end of this thousand years, he will be released from his spiritual prison “for a little while” – Revelation 20:3b, 7. Before he is utterly destroyed! – cf. Psalm 145:8; Ezekiel 28:18-19.

The capital of the Kingdom of God will be the newly established New Jerusalem – in the same location where the capital of Israel is now – Jerusalem. Thus making New Jerusalem the most important place on the planet!

So, when paleontologists and archaeologists discover fossilized bones of creatures long extinct and date them to millions of years ago – don’t find this mind-boggling or some conspiracy theory – it is factual!

Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ ascended back to the upper heavenly realms to the right hand of God the Father some 1,993 years ago. The year 2031 marks two thousand years since our Lord Jesus Christ ascended to the upper heavenly realms – victorious! Is there any significance to this!?

Will there be 3 ½ years of relative peace before this world’s chaotic storm of tribulation!? - cf. Daniel 9:27. We understand that the great tribulation our Lord Jesus speaks of in Matthew 24:21-22 will be roughly 3 ½ years in length.

Brethren, how long do we have before the glorious and powerful return of our Lord Jesus?

No one knows. But, we can know the season (Matthew 24:32-35). Our Lord Jesus has told us of events that would occur beforehand.

Now, I will say this: if and when a Third Temple is built (or even a sacrificial altar; cf. Exodus 20:24) in the Old City of David and animal sacrifices are once again officially made, then we had all better get ready! But again – we had all better be ready because we never know when the Master of the house is to return!

There is great significance that the glorious Kingdom of God is represented by the SEVEN DAYS OF THE FEAST OF TABERNACLES! The eighth day or the Last Great Day represents the GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGMENT! – cf. Ezekiel 37:1-14; Revelation 20:11-15.
