Our Lord Jesus Christ spoke of a certain type of people in Matthew 13:15 –

“’ For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed, …’”

God’s living word – the Holy Bible – speaks about a time when the majority of the youths will be disrespectful, disregarding, uncaring, showing no honor towards their elders.

A person can certainly be crushed inside when their own family shuts off their love towards them.

Pain is something that can grow into something uncontrollable.

Now, maybe you have faced trying to talk to a person that you love, and they have been too busy or not interested in anything that you have to say – making you feel alone or lost!?

If this goes on too long, you certainly have to question if this is what you want in your life.

Sadly, an unequally yoked spouse is only acceptable if each is able to reside together and yet still each keeps their faith. But if one hinders the other’s faith, then it may be time to consider parting ways.

Notice, under the inspiration of God’s Spirit, what the apostle Paul wrote –

“Now to the married I command, yet not I BUT THE LORD: A wife is not to depart from her husband. 11) But even if she does depart, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband. And a husband is NOT to divorce his wife.

12) But to the rest I, NOT THE LORD, say: If any brother has a wife WHO DOES NOT BELIEVE, and she is willing to live with him, let him not divorce her. 13) And a woman who has a husband WHO DOES NOT BELIEVE, if he is willing to live with her, let her not divorce him. 14) For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband; otherwise your children would be unclean, but now they are holy.

15) But if the unbelieving departs, let him depart; a brother or a sister is NOT under bondage in such cases. But God has called us to peace” – 1 Corinthians 7:10-15, NKJV throughout, unless otherwise noted.

“DO NOT be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?” – 2 Corinthians 6:14.

So, if your family or a family member has no respect for you and they just disregard you, then it may be time to adopt your Christian family over those family members – to consume your time and conversations with God and His righteousness, rather than those who are always hurting you.

“Depart from evil and do good; Seek peace and pursue it” – Psalm 34:14.

Sometimes the best policy, to like someone better, is to move away from them.

A most popular saying is “Time heals all wounds” – and indeed if we turn our wounds to God, “He heals the brokenhearted And binds up [our] wounds” – Psalm 147:3.

We are gravely WARNED –

“And DO NOT grieve the Holy Spirit of God [meaning, do not squeeze out God’s Spirit out of you!], by [which] you were sealed for the day of redemption.

31) Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. 32) And BE KIND TO ONE ANOTHER, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God [God the Father] in Christ forgave you” – Ephesians 4:30-32.

There may be times in your life when you just have to walk away and start fresh – a new life elsewhere. There may be times in your life when you just have to distance yourself from your past and TOTALLY cut yourself off from those of your past – possibly for a good period of time – in order to establish a NEW LIFE!

God’s living Church should be that replacement family, just as long as the church has the living Spirit of God.

Vaccine or No Vaccine!?

I have been asked innumerable times, “Have you gotten the vaccine!?”

Now, I firmly believe that you should take the COVID-19 vaccine if you feel that is the best thing for you.

I also firmly believe that if you wish not to take it, then so be it.

I am just as much for you getting the vaccine as not.

However, I am NOT for a government forcing you to get the vaccine.

In the United States of America, every person should have the right to make their own decision for what is best for themselves in such a matter.

Now – on a personal note – I have NOT taken the COVID-19 vaccine. Because I have a grave issue with placing a vaccine that has not gone through extensive clinical trials into my one and only body!

There were some sources claiming that ALL the animals tested with Covid-19 vaccine studies died!

Now, of course, “Big Government” quickly “Fact-Check” ed that as “FALSE!” The truth is so hard to find. But, that being said, I have NEVER, nor will I ever, fully trust the government of the United States of America.

When “Big Government” says that something is good for you, then I begin to question it with serious doubt.

Now, it is possible that I will change my opinion on the COVID-19 vaccines in the future!?

But, it is too early for my liking to trust the vaccines.

It is the long-term effects that give me great concern.

A one-sided social media source, leftist/liberal sources, are a huge turn-off for me, and they are the sources that pump out the largest commands in taking the COVID-19 vaccines.

So, along with “Big Government,” regardless of which political party is in the White House, I DO NOT trust leftist/liberal news sources.

Yet, understand, I am not saying that Fox News is the news media to go for all your news and answers – because even Fox News can often be sketchy.

I just simply DO NOT trust leftist/liberals making decisions for me.

Politically – I am a 110 percent Christian conservative! So my views are going to be radically different than what the leftist/liberals look at things.

However, when it comes to these questionable COVID-19 vaccines and such things – I do believe in living a prudent life. I refuse to allow myself to be placed in what could be, potentially, a dangerous situation. As an example: I am not going to attend an American football game where there are literally thousands of people elbow to elbow! Not going to happen!

I praise God Almighty for having looked after me during my wild n’ crazy days. I certainly have had MANY close calls, and the LORD our God has protected me through them all!

“Grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen” – Ephesians 6:24.

So, at this point in my life, I DO NOT take unnecessary chances that could be very bad for me – unless it is a case of something I must do to serve the LORD our God!

Also, on another personal note – not since my childhood have I taken any form of a vaccine.

God be praised – within that time I’ve NEVER had to stay in a hospital due to a personal illness. God has blessed and protected me throughout my life and I am most grateful and thankful for that! Now, that is not to say that I have not ever visited a hospital for a broken bone.

I live in faith – that the LORD our God will protect my family and me.

I pray the prayer for God’s divine protection, and I have true faith in God – beyond a shadow of a doubt – that He will protect my family and me.

Our Lord Jesus Christ teaches us –

“ … ‘for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and NOTHING will be impossible for you’” – Matthew 17:20.

So, say I had to go into a room full of COVID-19 infected people for the living work of God – I would, in the living faith that the LORD our God would surely protect me. Or, if I was to contract the virus from being there, I would take the position that it was in the service to the LORD our God!

Dying in the service of the LORD our God is perfectly alright with me. I fact, I hope that the very last thing I do in this life will be in the service to the LORD our God! – i.e. preaching the Word of God, the Truth of God, and the Plan of God from my death bed.

As for this life – Guy Christian LaMar – it is to serve the Eternal God!

It is truly what is on my mind before I fall asleep every night, and it is what is on my mind upon waking the following morning! My every waking moment of life is in full service to the LORD our God!

“And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, 24) knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ” – Colossians 3:23-24.

“Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or WHATEVER YOU DO, do all to the glory of God” – 1 Corinthians 10:31.

“ABOVE ALL, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one” – Ephesians 6:16.

So, if you feel that you’re going to be better in taking the COVID-19 vaccine, then you should!

If you just don’t trust the COVID-19 vaccines, then you shouldn’t.

If you believe that the LORD our God will protect you, then you had better truly have your faith in check.

And, if you do contract the virus you had better be close to God.

This virus is SUPER REAL!

IT IS A KILLER!

Be careful, be cautious, be wise, and always do what you believe is right for you to do in order to prevent this virus from being a part of your life.

If that means wearing a mask in public – do it!

If that means staying away from others – do it!

Personally – I have no problem with wearing a mask in public and staying away from others.

NO ONE is any less a true Christian for taking the COVID-19 vaccine than those who don’t! – and anyone who tries to browbeat others for taking the vaccine should be ashamed of themselves!

It could be possible that getting the vaccine is the very best thing one could do for themselves with this deadly virus raging around the globe!?

Now, within this living faith from God, I DO NOT believe the virus will touch me! I do believe that I am cautious enough and I do believe that I have a whole lot of work yet to do in the service to the LORD our God before my time is up!

I am just getting started! There is a whole lot of work to be done before night falls in the service of our great and awesome Creator God!

My hands are to the plow, and I am not looking back!

It is onward and forward! □
