The Feast of Pentecost went great here! And, it’s a great joy to hear that Minister Michael C. Garrett is feeling much better and was able to have service for the Day of Pentecost at the Logsdon Community Center 2400 Friendship Dr. Owensboro, KY. 42303. Feast of Tabernacles
The next holy days are the Feast of Trumpets (from sunset September 6th through sunset September 7th this year), the Day of Atonement (from sunset September 15th through sunset September 16th this year), and the Feast of Tabernacles/Last Great Day (from sunset September 20th through to sunset September 28th this year).
As mentioned before – I have plans on spending at least the first half of the Feast of Tabernacles/Last Great Day with our brethren in Owensboro, Kentucky this year.

World News Items
The terrible fighting between the Palestinians and the Israelis is continuing (See: ‘AP – Israel Strikes Gaza Home of Hamas leader, Destroys AP Office’ also ‘BBC – How Israel’s Iron Dome Missile Shield Works’ along with ‘VOA – Israeli Missiles Destroy Gaza Building Housing Foreign Media Outlets’). In God’s living Word is a future two-fold prophecy concerning peoples that appear to be within modern-day Iran (Elam) as well as modern-day Syria (Kir; see Isaiah 15:1) which will ultimately gravely damage the tiny nation of Israel in this end time –
Let’s turn in our Bible to the Book of Isaiah chapter 22 –
Verse 6 – “Elam bore the quiver With chariots of men and horsemen, And Kir uncovered the shield. 7) It shall come to pass that your choicest valleys Shall be full of chariots, And the horsemen shall set themselves in array at the gate.”Verses 8 & 9 - “He [Almighty God] removed the protection of JUDAH. You looked in that day to the armor of the House of the Forest; 9) You also saw the damage to the city of David, That it was great; …”
Grave death and destruction are coming to the modern nation of Israel.
Now, it should be noted that God’s living Word – the Holy Bible – shows us that Iran will not end up faring too well. Notice the following in this dual prophecy which does indicate at least a partial destruction before the ‘latter days’:
“The word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah the prophet against Elam [ancient Persia/Iran], in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, saying, 35) ‘Thus says the LORD of hosts:‘Behold, I will break the bow of Elam. The foremost of their might. 36) Against Elam I will bring the four winds From the four quarters of heaven, And scatter them toward all these winds; There shall be no nations where the outcasts of Elam will not go. 37) For I will cause Elam to be dismayed before their enemies And before those who seek their life. I will bring disaster upon them, My fierce anger,’ says the LORD; ‘And I will send the sword after them Until I have consumed them. 38) I will set My throne in Elam, And will destroy from there the king and the princes,’ says the LORD.” – Jeremiah 49:34-38.
Indeed, this terrible fighting between the Palestinians and Israelis is a cause to ‘watch’ – cf. Mark 13:37. Sadly, this “Iron Dome” will not prevent this two-fold prophecy of Isaiah chapter 22 from being fulfilled.
And, as far as Iran – it is soon to get a new president. And guess who is in the running!? Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

May 12, 2021TEHRAN, Iran (AP) — Iran’s former hard-line President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad registered Wednesday to run again for the Islamic Republic’s presidency, raising the possibility that the populist leader who rapidly advanced Tehran’s nuclear program to challenge the West could return to the country’s top civilian post.Ahmadinejad’s attempt to run again in 2017 disregarded the words of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who had warned the firebrand, Holocaust-questioning politician his standing for office would be a “polarized situation” that would be “harmful for the county.”
Friends, it is highly likely that Iran’s next president will be involved in a major attack on Israel and the city of David – Jerusalem. When Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was Iran’s president, his government even authorized a video showing Iran being victorious and taking over Jerusalem. While Iran will not be allowed to do that, one day, the nation of Israel will lose territory.
In Spain, a Spanish politician was temporarily banned from Twitter for posting “a man cannot get pregnant.” (See: ‘ZeroHedge – Spanish Politician Banned From Twitter For “Hate Speech” After Saying “A Man Cannot Get Pregnant”’). Now, unless everything I’ve ever learned about a human male is wrong – they can’t! He was making this comment in response to an article entailing a transgender male who had announced giving birth to a child and is now a “father.” Below is his diagram to illustrate his point. Now, as for myself, I canceled the ministries’ Twitter account after Twitter banned former President Donald Trump! So, if you’re not like Arnold Schwarzenegger in his Junior flop, and you want to get pregnant – then you’re outta luck! Our Eternal God’s living word – in the very first book – He told Eve, “ …’ In pain you shall bring forth children; …’” – Genesis 3:16. Natural human males DO NOT have the biological capability to get pregnant or to give birth to a child. Yet, Twitter, which is a “fascist” organization doesn’t want anyone to hear that!
Now, of course, it is not just “fascist” Twitter. A growing majority in academia and within the Internet social-media and social servicing platforms hate any biblical morality and want to ban it! Facebook had temporarily banned Minister Michael C. Garrett’s short sermonette video “Are the Dead In Heaven?” from being shown in over 249 locations, claiming “copyright infringement”! And then, there’s also ‘shadowbanning’ which we came across when Minister Garrett gave a five-part series of sermons entitled “Toxic Philosophy.” Indeed, go look for yourself! On the Owensboro Church of Jesus Christ YouTube channel, scroll down the videos until you find “Toxic Philosophy – Part 1” and you will see a striking view count drop! 'Shadowbanning' is the use of biased algorithms, and other such techniques by giant internet companies, like Google, Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter. They are intended to reduce the number of people who would otherwise come across internet content in an unbiased search. These companies have repeatedly shown a bias against what has been called ‘conservative content.’ This is one reason that I often try to use DuckDuckGo for searches as it (currently at least) is less biased against biblical content than Google. YouTube uses terms like “community standards” to try to cover up its biases and censorship.
God’s living word says –
“’ Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! 21) Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, And prudent in their own sight!’” – Isaiah 5:20-21.
And, His living word teaches –
“’ CRY ALOUD, spare not; Lift up your voice like a trumpet; Tell My people their transgression, And the house of Jacob their sins.’” – Isaiah 58:1.
And friends, this dire WARNING includes telling peoples of their sins and of God’s soon-coming punishment! More restrictions, censorship, and persecutions are coming! – cf. Amos 8:11.
Also, in the United States of America, and as anti-biblical agendas go – the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America has ordained a transgender person as a bishop, and a leading Southern Baptist Convention pastor ordained three women (See: ‘CNN – The Lutheran church elected its first transgender bishop, who will lead 200 congregations’ along with ‘Ecumenical News – Southern Baptist Convention pastor says ordination of 3 women by Rick Warren’s church ‘violates Scripture’). And indeed, so says Almighty God, both of these are condemned by God!
“’ A woman shall not wear anything that pertains to a man, nor shall a man put on a woman’s garment, for all who do so are an abomination to the LORD your God’” – Deuteronomy 22:5.“Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived, neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, NOR EFFEMINATE, NOR ABUSERS OF THEMSELVES WITH MANKIND [homosexuals and lesbians], 10) Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 11) And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God” – 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, KJV.
There is no record of true Christian women preaching – either within the New Testament or early Christian writings. Now, Simon Magus could have had some female preachers!? The apostle Paul confirms to Timothy that women are not to be preachers within Jesus Christ’s Church –
“Let a woman learn in silence with all submission. 12) And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence” – 1 Timothy 2:11-12.
Sadly, with this world growing ever stronger with this feminist movement, very few are taking God’s living words – the Holy Bible – seriously anymore.
Concluding Comments
A brother to our Master and Elder Brother Jesus Christ was inspired to write –
“So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; 20) for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God.21) Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls [your lives]. 22) But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.23) For if anyone is a hearer of the word [the Holy Bible] and not a doer; he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; 24) for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was.25) But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.26) If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue, but deceives his own heart, this one’s religion is useless. 27) Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world” – James 1:19-27.
So, dear friends, brethren, and warm hearts, be careful about your words, and be a doer of God’s living word, and keep yourself unspotted from this corrupt world.
