ANGELS IN THE HOLY BIBLE – are SUPERNATURAL messengers or protectors used by GOD to dwell among human beings.
Angels are able to appear as humans – but are NOT humans.
Also, nowhere in God’s living word – the Holy Bible – are angels ever called a “dead person,” nor are they referred to as a female.
Angels have the capability to walk through walls and withstand the elements of whatever this earth has to offer. They are eternal spiritual beings.
The archangel of the “bottomless pit, whose name is Abaddon, but in Greek, he has the name Apollyon” – known also as Hêylêl – better known as Satan the devil, along with his minions known as demons will, in the future, be cast “into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet [were cast]. And they will be tormented day and night [for ages of the ages – eternal ages].” – Revelation 9:11; 20:10.
Angels are issued by God to be guardians of various people, they have been assigned to guard over certain people.
In God’s living word there are multiple stories where angels are used as supernatural servants of God -
Two angels and the LORD God Himself appeared (as human men) to Abraham by terebinth trees of Mamre, as he was sitting in the tent door during the heat of the day – warning of the LORD God’s judgment to come upon the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah – Genesis 18:1, 20-22. They also promised Sarah – Abraham’s wife, who was eighty-nine years old at the time – would give birth to a son – Genesis 18:10-12.
The LORD God, who would later be known as Jesus Christ – was the “LORD” who appeared before Abraham – Genesis 18:1.
These same two angels went to the city of Sodom in the evening to speak with Lot – Abraham’s nephew – concerning this said coming destruction and warning him to flee with his family – Genesis 19:1, 12-13.
Our Lord Jesus Christ was also the personage of Melchizedek king of Salem – Genesis 14:18; Hebrews 7:1-10.
When the LORD God – known as “the Word” (John 1:1) – appeared in His pre-incarnate body as in the Old Testament, it was known as “Christophany.”
An angel can appear as a man – and we are warned by the apostle Paul not to forget “to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels” – Hebrews 13:2.
Truly only a FOOLISH person would think that angels ARE NOT the supernatural beings – that they truly come straight from the THIRD HEAVEN under God’s rule to work upon this planet as agents unto God.
According to The New York Times, more than 7,200 sightings of Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) were reported to the National UFO Reporting Center in 2020, and that represented an increase of “about 1,000” from the year before. Why Have UFO Sightings More Than Doubled Over The Last Two Years?
Could these UFO reports widespread be Satan and his demons preparing for war!? – Revelation 12:7. Could they be righteous angels preparing for the glorious return of Jesus Christ!?
What about prophet Ezekiel’s vision, often called a “wheel within a wheel”!? – Ezekiel 1. This certainly describes what people associate with as a UFO!
Are angelic works going on in preparation for the glorious and powerful SOON COMING return of Jesus Christ!? It’s not too farfetched – if you are of the faith.
Now, there are many naysayers or “know-it-alls” who THINK they can deceive others by their NON-HOLY SPIRIT-led life of looking at things. What does God’s living word call such people!?
A fool.
“A fool has no delight in understanding, But in expressing his own heart” – Proverbs 18:2.
Truly, something to think about. □
