The Owensboro Church of Jesus Christ is pleased to present our latest sermon from our YouTube and Godtube channels:
1:53:47
Minister Michael C. Garrett offers valuable and highly practical admonition from the Apostle Paul concerning anger. For anger, itself is not a sin. God, Himself expresses anger (cf. Exodus 4:14). Our Lord Jesus Christ did indeed control His anger with the money changers (John 2:13-17). Yet, uncontrolled anger can lead to sin. Self-control - one of the fruits of God's Spirit - helps in controlling anger in a way that glorifies and honors Almighty God and Jesus Christ!
One way is like what the Apostle Paul taught, " ... 'don't let the sun go down on your wrath.'" Don't let anger be unresolved. Make dealing with anger a priority. Otherwise, bitterness can take hold and vengeance can grow.
