Here's another new civic month! September 2023! The ninth month of the Gregorian calendar. September (from the Latin Septem, meaning "seven") was originally the seventh month within the Roman calendar - the calendar of Romulus, the founder and first king of Rome. The very man after all the Roman citizens were named (see: Revelation 13:18). In God's holy calendar, this month is called Elul.
