Bud Offutt - 1942-2020
The Owensboro Church of Jesus Christ is pleased (and yet saddened) to bring you our latest sermon via our YouTube Channel  -

What happens at death!? Just how final is it!? Is there life after death!? It's time you understand.

Indeed - NO MATTER WHO YOU ARE - whether my neighbor Sonny across the street, the neighbor behind you, the person standing in line in front of you, the mailperson, your auto mechanic, or even your secretary - sooner or later, you are going to die!

You might be the most beautiful person on Earth, you might be healthy, strong - but eventual death is coming, and you are going to die! It is inescapable. Now, whether you live out a natural life span, or whether your life is cut short by some terrible accident, disease, virus - this physical life will end in death.

May God Almighty and Jesus Christ bless you with the wisdom - and the desire - to take the proper steps that leads to repentance, proper baptism, and the laying on of hands, 'in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit' - the impregnating seed of eternal life into your mortal body.
