The apostle Paul wrote, "For there is ONE GOD AND ONE MEDIATOR between God [the Father] and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom FOR ALL, ..." - 1st Timothy 2:5-6.
When we consider all Jesus is busy doing for us, it becomes clearer than ever that we are saved not by His death, which justified us, but day in and day out by His LIFE, by His activities as our High Priest. He is your Shepherd, your Redeemer, your Counselor, your Light, your Rock, your salvation and defense, as well as your Healer and MEDIATOR!
