'Equity Cannot Enter'

 

Greetings once again friends. Our friends in Singapore, in Madisonville, Kentucky, DeKalb, Texas, Athens, Alabama, and all around the world, including, of course, the United States of America. Welcome, I’m your servant Leonard V. Johnson. I am so very pleased to be here with you today. This is the Church of Jesus Christ Online Ministries affiliated with the Owensboro Church of Jesus Christ headquartered in Owensboro, Kentucky.

Here quite soon I’ll be starting video sermons once again. I took a short hiatus to focus more on articles.

Today, if you would turn to the Book of Isaiah chapter 59 –

The prophet Isaiah – under great inspiration from God’s Spirit – goes into much detail describing a prophecy of the conditions in this end-time preceding the great and terrible Day of the LORD. And, I have noted in my Bible in bold letters just above this chapter – “TODAY’S SOCIETY!”

Verse 13 – “In transgressing and lying against the LORD, And departing from our God, Speaking oppression and revolt, …” – does not many of the youth of America today threaten and shout, “No Justice, No Peace!”? “ … Conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood.”

Verse 14 – “Justice is turned back, And righteousness stands afar off; For truth is fallen in the street, And equity [the quality of being fair and impartial] cannot enter.”

Also, notice the following from the apostle Paul concerning the state of “TODAY’S SOCIETY!” prior to the Day of the LORD in the Book of 2nd Timothy chapter 3 –

Verse 13 – “But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.” – KJV.

And, turning over to 2nd Thessalonians chapter 2 beginning in verse 5 –

“Do you [the Thessalonians; and in extension us] not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? 6) And now you know what is restraining, that he [this end-time man of sin] may be revealed in his own time.” – recall in the article “‘Tell My People Their Sins’” I wrote, “And, brethren, let us not sell ourselves short – but we should wonder – is it that Almighty God is holding back the utter destruction of the United States of America, the United Kingdom and her Commonwealth of Nations, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand respectively – because there are maybe ten in one-million righteous people within these nations!? It should make us wonder. Is that number depleting as time goes by!?” – meaning, Almighty God and our Lord Jesus Christ is “keeping this final man of sin in check” and in restraint from his full and final development.

Verse 7 – “For the mystery of lawlessness [of sin] is already at work; …” – recall the apostle Paul had WARNED that even then in AD 51-52 many were turning to ‘a different gospel, which is not another’ – cf. Galatians 1:6-9. “ … only he who now [letteth] will do so …” – meaning, i.e., the continuance of the ‘mystery of lawlessness’ - of sin - will only be “until he is taken out of the way.”

Verse 9 – “The coming of the lawless one [this end-time man of sin] is according to the working of Satan, …” – recall Revelation 13:2 “ … The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority.” “ … with power, signs, and lying wonders, 10) and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.”

Verse 11 – “And for this reason [because ‘they did not receive the love of truth’] God will send strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12) that they all may be condemned who do not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness” – NKJV and hereafter unless otherwise noted.

So, not only was there prophesied a great increase in deceit, but also that most people would believe the deceits – the lies. Also as noted, the Book of Revelation chapter 13 speaks of an end-time increase in totalitarianism.

And as I have stated, as I have WARNED, and as I have Twittered – the COVID-19 situation has been used to implement greater control over the populous, and the majority of people are believing many deceits.

Human Rights Watchdog Says Governments Using Pandemic To Crack Down On Online Dissent

“Governments around the world are using the ongoing pandemic to crack down on online dissent according to a human rights watchdog.

Washington-based Freedom House said dozens of countries have cited CV as a means “to justify expanded surveillance powers and the deployment of new technologies that were once seen as too intrusive.” They added that it marks the 10th consecutive annual decline in internet freedom, Barron’s reported.

The expansion of technological systems is enabling the government's social control, according to the report.

“The pandemic is accelerating society’s reliance on digital technologies at a time when the internet is becoming less and less free,” said Michael Abramowitz, president of the nonprofit group.”

The grim fate that could be ‘worse than extinction’

“If a malevolent group or government suddenly gained world-dominating power through technology, and there was nothing to stand in its way, it could lead to an extended period of abject suffering and subjugation. A 2017 report on existential risks from the Global Priorities Project, in conjunction with FHI and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland, warned that “a long future under a particularly brutal global totalitarian state could arguably be worse than complete extinction”.

Singleton hypothesis

Though global totalitarianism is still a niche topic of study, researchers in the field of existential risk are increasingly turning their attention to its most likely cause: artificial intelligence. …

“In totalitarian regimes of the past, [there was] so much paranoia and psychological suffering because you just have no idea if you’re going to get killed for saying the wrong thing,” he continues. “And now imagine that there’s not even a question, every single thing you say is being reported and being analyzed.”

“We may not yet have the technologies to do this,” Ord said in a recent interview, “but it looks like the kinds of technologies we’re developing make that easier and easier. And it seems plausible that this may become possible at some time in the next 100 years.”

Indeed, both my wife and I have seriously noted that after a long “private” conversation in our home, the next morning in the news feed online – is our conversation from the night before advertised to us, i.e. “Do you need a new GPS, we’ve got one for you!” We had just been talking about getting a new GPS the night before! And yes, I have shut off the app permission to the microphone and camera on our cell phones – it continues. But anyhow - I believe that the ‘man of sin’ will surely be revealed in a lot less than 100-years! I expect it to be in less than a decade. Yet, God says – within His living word – that he will come in peaceably and do what his predecessors (i.e. Antiochus IV Epiphanes, King Charlemagne, Otto the Great, Frederick Barbarossa, Napoléon Bonaparte, Adolf Hitler, and Benito Mussolini) were unable to do –

Turn with me over to the Book of Daniel chapter 11 to this two-fold prophecy –

Verse 23 – “And after the league is made with him he shall act deceitfully, for he shall come up and become strong with a small number of people.” – similar to what Adolf Hitler accomplished – he began with a small number of supporters. And as Markus Finster wrote on Quora, “If we understand support as “actively joining the Nazis,” like volunteering for the SS, actively pushing their agenda rather than just benefiting from it, the number of Nazi supporters is a lot smaller. If we narrow the definition to that, then I'd consider only active Nazi party members, members of the SS, and the SA as true supporters. The others, the bystanders - they were enablers.”

And certainly ‘his plans against the strongholds’ will be against the United States of America, the United Kingdom and her Commonwealth of Nations, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand respectively – who are all part of the Five Eyes Alliance (FVEY)! Such leaders can gain much power after a grave time of financial collapse, pestilence, and death!

I believe that COVID-19 restrictions is the setting of the stage for more people allowing themselves to turn to such a leader.

Now as far as totalitarianism, there are parts of Europe which have ever-greater surveillance and enforcement of COVID-19 restrictions –

New measures enforced across Europe as continent battles second wave of coronavirus

“New measures to halt the spread of coronavirus are being rolled out across Europe, as the continent battles a second wave of the deadly virus.

A raft of new restrictions came into force in Italy on Monday, after being announced on Sunday by Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte, with the country dealing with daily highs of infections. …

The chancellor of Austria, Sebastian Kurz, announced on Monday that from Friday private gatherings will be limited to six people indoors and 12 people outdoors. …

The wearing of masks is compulsory from Monday in closed public places throughout Switzerland, the federal government announced on Sunday.”

Even in America, politicians – such as Mayors and Governors – are seeing that they can, given fear tactics and police support, place a lot of totalitarian measures upon our peoples.

God’s living word shows us that ultimately, totalitarianism in Europe will worsen! In this end-time Europe will actually reorganize and turn power over to a single dictator – called in Scripture ‘the beast’ –

Turn with me over to the Book of Revelation chapter 13 –

Notice what the apostle John wrote just what this tyrannical civic leader will do –

Verse 5 – “And he [this ‘man of sin’ – this end-time tyrannical civic leader] was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months [3 ½ years]. 6) Then he opened his mouth in blaspheme against God, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven. 7) It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given to him over every tribe, tongue [language], and nation. 8) All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.” – The United States of America and the peoples of the United Kingdom at this time here have been subjugated. Many of the peoples have been scattered around the world.

Verse 9 – “If anyone has an ear, let him hear.”

Verse 11 – “Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, …” –referring to a great religious leader who has its roots of power in the continent of Europe – and has had for almost two-thousand years. “ … and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon.”

Verse 12 – “And he [this second beast] exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.”

And, as Minister Michael C. Garrett wrote:

“What’s that “deadly wound”!? Well, the Roman Empire – the greatest world Empire ever in the ancient world – had its height of power and completely controlled most parts of Europe, and the Middle East, and North Africa. And yet, that great Empire eventually struggled and crumbled and disappeared. And then there were revivals of the concept of the “Holy” Roman Empire. Up to this point in history, we’ve had six revivals. The last one being Hitler’s Germany and Mussolini’s Italy. The Bible says there will be seven revivals altogether. We haven’t gotten to the seventh revival yet. But the seventh revitalization of the “Holy” Roman Empire is what chapter 13 is talking about early on. And so this second beast is a great religious movement. And so, by saying, “whose deadly wound was healed,” when the seventh installment of the “Holy” Roman Empire comes to fruition, then the concept of the “Holy” Roman Empire will once again be alive and be intact. And so that “deadly wound” will cease to exist because it will be alive and healthy again.”

Verse 13 – “He [again, this second beast] performs great signs, …” – I, myself, remember back in 1996 when hundreds of thousands were drawn to the Seminole Finance Corporation building in Clearwater, Florida because they claimed the “Virgin Mary” appeared in the rainbow swirls which formed on the glass outside the building. “ … so that he even makes fire come down from heaven [the atmosphere] on the earth in the sight of men.”

Verse 14 – “And …” – like those so-called appearances of the likeness of the “Virgin Mary,” but with greater intensity – “ … he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast [in the sight of this end-time ‘man of sin’ – this end-time tyrannical civic leader], telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived.”

Again, Minister Michael C. Garrett:

“This great church that has its roots in central Europe has always been organized just as the Roman Empire. And so when you read ‘the image to the beast,’ it’s referring to a spiritual or religious organization led by a great so-called holy man and is constructed – designed – after the concept of the Roman Empire. … it’s a church organization.”

Verse 15 – “He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image [this religious organization which has its roots and power in the continent of Europe – and has had for almost two-thousand years] should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed.” – oh, my! Just as happened during the infamous “inquisitions,” when hundreds of thousands were put to death for refusing to give up their Bible-based faith. This part of the prophecy is talking about what goes on inside of Europe! – primarily. Now, I’m sure there will be other people in other countries and other lands which will be sort of caught up in all of this enthusiasm. But, primarily these passages here are talking about what happens in a future Europe.

Verse 16 – “He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and [bond], to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17) and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”

Now, friends, a great many continue to falsely teach the Left Behind ideas, as well as that this “mark of the beast” is Sunday worship. Again, Minister Michael C. Garrett –

“I’ve tried to tell you here before – the identifying sign of the churches of false Christianity is the cross - from the time of the Roman Empire down to today. Back in the 1930s and 1940s, Adolf Hitler had his swastika, or his “broken cross” or “crooked cross.” But the “Holy” Roman Empire, and from the days of Emperor Constantine the Great, they have used the cross as the symbol of their religion.”

Friends, the United States of America – who has prided herself as “the land of the free” has actually enforced some religious services to not be held, arrested people for actually not wearing masks, and has liberally taken away many rights during ‘peacetime’ – what do you think a soon-coming end-time United States of Europe without any supposed constraints will do!? □
